The Marella Dream cruise ship will arrive at PortCastelló this Monday, July 8th, with 620 crew members and 1,564 passengers on board, the vast majority of whom are British. This makes it the largest cruise ship to ever call at the port of Castellón.
This cruise is offered by Marella Cruises, operated by the TUI UK group, which provides cruise holidays in Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia. This company, formerly known as Thomson Cruises, is ideal for families and couples seeking an all-inclusive holiday experience.
The cruise ship will dock early in the morning at PortCastelló. Once in port, tourists can choose from various organized excursions, including trips to the beaches of Castellón and Benicàssim or a tapas tour of the city of Castellón.
The tourism boards of the Castelló City Council and the Castellón Provincial Council have deployed tourist information officers to assist cruise ship passengers. In addition, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana will reinforce the service with ten English-speaking tourist assistants who will be stationed at the Cruise Terminal and various points in the city center.
