Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. announced today that it has reached an agreement with Meyer Turku shipyards for an order for a third Icon-class ship with delivery in 2025.
This ship will join its two sister ships, to be delivered in 2022 and 2024 respectively, in the fleet of Royal Caribbean International, an industry leader in innovation, clean technology, and stunning ship design.

We believe that innovative shipbuilding can reduce our carbon footprint and increase energy efficiency to help build a cleaner future.”

The order is pending financing. The Icon-class ships will be approximately 200,000 GRT and carry 5,000 passengers.
