Royal Caribbean International officially took delivery of its 26th ship, the Spectrum of the Seas, at a ceremony held today in Bremerhaven, Germany. Richard D. Fain, Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., and Michael Bayley, Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, received the new vessel from Bernard Meyer, Managing Partner of the Meyer Werft shipyard, at the official handover ceremony. The Spectrum, the first ship in the Quantum Ultra class, will arrive at the Port of Málaga next Tuesday, the 16th, and from there will begin its voyage to Shanghai, its home port.
