Pullmantur Cruises – the only cruise line in the market that brings the Spanish lifestyle to the cruise experience – begins this Sunday, March 31, in the Port of Malaga. This is the first of eight embarkation operations aboard the Horizon that the company has scheduled for 2019.
Thus, it becomes the second most important home port for Pullmantur Cruises on the peninsula, second only to Barcelona.
Regarding passenger volume, the company expects more than 10,000 people to begin their holidays in Malaga, generating a significant economic impact. It is estimated that the average expenditure of a passenger embarking at a Spanish port is €154, an amount that includes airfare, port taxes, accommodation in the city of embarkation, meals, excursions, and other purchases. To this figure would need to be added the expenses derived from the company's own operations, among other things.
