The ultra-luxury cruise ship Scenic Eclipse will suffer a further delay until April 13, 2019, the date on which its first cruise is scheduled.
The ship was announced for August 2018, but after problems at the Uljanik shipyard, it was delayed to January 2019, and now its schedule has been altered again, with a launch now set for April. Scenic is offering full refunds on reservations as well as a 25% discount on future bookings. The company blames the “ongoing financial problems” at the Uljanik shipyard in Croatia.
