Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Oceania Cruises, the world's leading cruise line in at-sea dining and destinations, has unveiled a series of new improvements to customer service as part of the OceaniaNEXT initiative, a project announced last August by the company that will implement significant upgrades to the fleet and the onboard experience.
“As OceaniaNEXT continues to evolve, travelers and travel agency partners will see that we are innovating and improving every aspect of the Oceania Cruises experience,” says James Rodriguez, Executive Vice President of Oceania Cruises.

Onboard credit can now be used before departure
Guests and their travel agents can now use onboard credit before departure to purchase shore excursions and tours, onboard beverage packages, cooking classes, and onboard culinary experiences in La Reserve and Privée. The credit can be used for itineraries departing from May 19, 2019, through the 'Manage Your Booking' section of oceanacruises.com, the Travel Agent Centre, or by calling Passenger Services at +34 938002014.
Redesign of the OceaniaCruises.com website
The Oceania Cruises homepage has been redesigned with new, intuitive navigation to make planning and managing your Oceania Cruises experience easier than ever. The new navigation is divided into four sections at the top of the page, providing users and agents with easy and efficient access to information. These four sections include:
“Plan Your Cruise” makes it easier than ever to find an itinerary or destination, view special cruises, and easily see flight and hotel programs at a glance.
“Explore the Coast” delves into the unique aspects of the destinations, shore excursions, and the line’s distinctive Culinary Discovery Tours.
“Onboard Experiences” describes all the nuances of the six ships and their culinary offerings, considered the best gastronomy at sea, along with enrichment and wellness programs.
“Fabulous Price” features included amenities, special offers, tour and beverage packages, travel protection and more.
The dedicated section for travel agents also features a range of updates to marketing tools, tips and training, and sections with benefits for travel agents. Additional updates to OceaniaCruises.com and the Travel Agent Center will be rolled out in 2019.

New pre-cruise savings program
Oceania Cruises has long offered savings and incentives for those who, while on board or even 30 days after completing their itinerary, wish to book their next voyage. Oceania Cruises continues to innovate by extending these benefits to guests and travel agents for a period of 30 days prior to departure. This means that travelers who have already chosen their Oceania Cruises experience can book a new voyage before departure and take advantage of this exclusive benefit and the best price guarantee. Travelers benefit from attractive options and fares, while travel agents can automatically manage the future booking.

Luggage shipping service
Oceania Cruises is proud to partner with Luggage Forward®, the specialized service that offers travelers the option of shipping any extra luggage or equipment directly from their home to any Oceania Cruises voyage and back home after the cruise. Available to and from 150 ports of call, this service provides great convenience by eliminating the hassle of carrying, checking, and claiming luggage, and even going through customs. Exclusive benefits and discounts are available on the website.
