Madrid, September 20, 2018 – Norwegian Cruise Line, the most innovative cruise company in the cruise industry, has released its summer 2020 itineraries for 11 of its 17 ships, including upcoming voyages on the Norwegian Encore, the company’s highly anticipated flagship, which will set sail in 2019. The company has also announced spring 2022 itineraries aboard the Pride of America.
With trips to the world's most popular destinations, the schedule for summer 2020 includes three ships cruising to Alaska, four ships sailing to Europe, and two sailing to Bermuda from New York and Boston, including the Norwegian Encore, which will begin cruising from the city that never sleeps on April 22, 2020.

Alaska – Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Jewel
The Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy, and Norwegian Jewel will set sail for Alaska in the summer of 2020, forming the youngest and most exciting fleet in the region. Their sister ships, the Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Bliss, will return to the U.S. for seven-day cruises departing from Seattle, Washington, on May 9 and May 10, respectively. In Alaska, the Norwegian Joy will call at Holkham Bay, Icy Strait Point, Ketchikan, and Juneau, and in British Columbia, at Victoria. The Norwegian Bliss will call at Glacier Bay, Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan (Alaska), as well as Victoria (British Columbia).
To complete the fleet that sails Alaska, starting May 11, the Norwegian Jewel will return to Vancouver (British Columbia) and Seward (Alaska) to run its incredibly popular seven-day northbound itineraries through Glacier Bay and the Inside Passage.
Europe – Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Epic
The Norwegian Escape will make its European debut on May 29, offering nine-day Baltic cruises from Copenhagen, Denmark, with stops in Warnemünde, Germany; Tallinn, Estonia; Helsinki, Finland; Stockholm (Nynasham); and an overnight stay in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Norwegian Escape will be one of Norwegian's newest and largest ships to be based in Europe, offering passengers flexibility, more than 27 dining options, 21 bars and lounges, Broadway-style entertainment, and more.
For the first time, beginning May 15, the Norwegian Dawn will offer cruises from Europe with seven- to eleven-day voyages to the Greek and Italian islands from Venice, Italy. Starting May 8, the Norwegian Getaway will offer ten- to eleven-day cruises to Italy and the Greek islands from Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy. Both the Norwegian Dawn and the Norwegian Getaway will visit Kotor (Montenegro), Dubrovnik (Croatia), and Corfu, Santorini, and Mykonos (Greece), among other Mediterranean destinations. Tickets for the Norwegian Epic's 2020 European summer season go on sale October 16, 2018.
Bermuda – Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Gem
Following its inaugural Caribbean season, the Norwegian Encore will relocate from Miami, Florida, to New York City and offer seven-day cruises to Bermuda beginning April 22, while the Norwegian Gem will offer seven-day sailings from Boston to Bermuda beginning May 1. Both ships' seven-day, one-night port itineraries will offer passengers three days in Bermuda.
The Caribbean – Norwegian Breakaway
Starting April 23, the Norwegian Breakaway will return to Miami for a selection of five- and seven-day Western Mediterranean cruises visiting Roatán, the Bay Islands of Honduras; Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico; and the exclusive resort-style port of call at Harvest Caye in southern Belize. It will also offer three- and four-day itineraries.
The Bahamas and Florida / Canada and New England – Norwegian Pearl
Beginning May 23, for the first time, the Norwegian Pearl will be based in New York, offering a selection of seven-, ten-, and eleven-day cruises to Canada and New England, with stops in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Saint John, New Brunswick; Bar Harbor and Portland, Maine; and Newport, Rhode Island. It will also offer seven-day voyages to the Bahamas and Florida, visiting Port Canaveral, Nassau, and Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian's private island paradise in the Bahamas, which has recently undergone enhancements as part of The Norwegian Edge®,the company's commitment to raising the bar for excellence across its fleet and resort-style destinations.
Hawaii – Pride of America
The Pride of America will continue its seven-day inter-island itinerary, offering nearly 100 hours of port calls on the main Hawaiian Islands, including stops in Hilo and Kona, and stays in Kahului, Maui, and Nuawiliwili, Kauai, with an afternoon cruise along the stunning Napali Coast. The Pride of America will depart Honolulu every Saturday from May 1, 2021, through April 2022.
