(Monaco – July 3, 2018) Since opening bookings for the Legends of Cruising 2020 cruise last month, Silversea has seen a marked increase in advance bookings compared to the launch of the previous Silversea World Cruises in the past five years.
With a record response rate from both Silversea customers and first-time cruisers, World Cruise 2020 has topped the booking charts. Silver Whisper will be the first ship to visit all seven continents on a 140-day round-the-world cruise. In addition, Owner Suites sold out immediately, demonstrating strong consumer confidence in the luxury cruise market.
World Cruise 2020 will make history by including Antarctic expedition experiences in its itinerary and visiting more than 62 ports in 32 countries. In addition, there will be 40 new destinations from the 2018 and 2019 Silversea itineraries, further solidifying Silversea's position as a pioneer of innovation in the luxury cruise industry.

Up to 382 passengers will embark on Silver Whisper for the 2020 World Cruise, and the ship will be the most intimate in the ultra-luxury segment for a world cruise. It will also offer guests an unprecedented selection of onboard events and tailor-made excursions.
Suites on the 2020 World Cruise are available from €55,000 per person.
