Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has announced the appointment of Ana Karina Santini as its new Director of Business Development for EMEA, effective July 1. “Ana Karina’s extensive experience with both Royal Caribbean and the cruise industry makes her the ideal person for this role,” said John Tercek, Vice President of Business Development at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. “Her experience across various industries will enable her to further expand strategic port partnerships throughout Europe and the Mediterranean, representing RCL in the region.”.
Ana Karina joined RCL after 20 years of distinguished international experience as a consultant in the cruise industry, working for ports, cruise terminal developers, local governments, and agencies in both the Mediterranean and Latin America. She also served as Secretary General of MedCruise before founding her own consulting firm. In 2012, Ana Karina Santini began coordinating communications for RCL in Italy. A year later, she joined the Business Development department, providing consulting support to the company's joint ventures in the Mediterranean region.
Ana Karina graduated from the University of Córdoba (Argentina) with a BA in International Relations. She later earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Genoa and subsequently completed her studies with a Master's degree in International Cooperation from the University of Bologna.
