The Ferrol-San Cibrao Port Authority will begin the second half of the cruise season with the arrival on July 27 of the Oriana, from the P&O Cruises shipping company, which is already a regular in the city, with 3,000 people on board, including passengers and crew.
September will be the month with the highest influx of cruise ships with a total of seven calls from different shipping companies such as WindStar or P&O, followed by October and November with a total of six calls and also with different companies such as Oceania.
It is worth noting that some cruise ships will be visiting Ferrol for the first time, such as the Thomson Celebration, from the Thomson Cruises shipping company, with 1,750 people on board, including passengers and crew, or the AidaPrima, flagship of the Aida Cruises company, with 4,000 people on board, including passengers and crew.
The number of cruise ships expected to visit the city by the end of the year is 26, with more than 40,000 people on board, including passengers and crew, who will have enjoyed Ferrol and its surrounding area. This is a record figure for the Port Authority, which continues its international promotion efforts to attract and consolidate this type of traffic.
