The Terminal de Cruzeiros do Porto de Leixões will host the 'Porto & Douro Cruise Forum', on May 24, which will bring together the main participants of the local, national and international cruise industry, announces the Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo (APDL).

This event is the result of the initiative of the Terminal de Cruzeiros do Porto de Leixões and Via Navegável do Douro, co-financed by the European Union and organized by Cruises News Media Group, an international company specialized in the cruise ship industry and responsible for the International Cruise Summit, also counting on Luís de Carvalho, CEO of BA Europe as director and moderator.
The 'Porto & Douro Cruise Forum' is aimed at professionals in the tourism sector and cruisers, from agencies to hotels and museums, and will feature an analysis of the state of the industry, the position of Portugal in world itineraries, Porto and Portugal as a cruise destination and, in addition, a debate on river cruisers. Douro.
The debate will be open with the President of the Administrative Council of APDL, Brògueira Dias, with the President of the Municipality of Matosinhos, Eduardo Pinheiro, and with the President of the Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional do Norte de Portugal (CCDRN-N) Fernando Freire de Sousa and with the participation of executives from river tourism companies and ocean, the International Association of Cruzeiros Companies (CLIA), consultants, specialists of some of the largest shipping agents and tour operators in Portugal.
