MSC Cruises has announced the start of sales for MSC Bellissima, the highly anticipated second mega-ship in the company's Meraviglia-class fleet, which will set sail from the Western Mediterranean in March 2019 for its inaugural season. MSC Bellissima will make its maiden voyage departing from Genoa, Italy, on March 24, 2019. Designed for year-round sailing, MSC Bellissima can call at most international cruise ports worldwide. With a gross tonnage of 167,600 and a capacity for more than 5,700 passengers, this new cruise ship will be the largest in the MSC Cruises fleet, alongside MSC Meraviglia. MSC Bellissima is currently under construction at the STX France shipyard.
Initially, sales are open exclusively to MSC Voyagers Club members, representing yet another benefit of this program that rewards the loyalty of MSC Cruises passengers. Sales will open to all other passengers on May 15.
One of the main entertainment offerings on board MSC Bellissima will be the two Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows, created exclusively for MSC Cruises passengers by Cirque du Soleil, the world's leading entertainment company. With two performances six nights a week in the specially designed Carousel Lounge, passengers can enjoy an exclusive dinner: a table d'hôte menu featuring an eclectic selection of creative dishes served before the show. This is an exclusive experience, previously only available on board MSC Meraviglia and now MSC Bellissima. All passengers who book before July 31, 2017, can enjoy a Cirque du Soleil at Sea dinner show as part of their cruise booking.
