Global Ports Holding (GPH), the world's largest cruise operator, has announced its intention to proceed with a public offering of its ordinary shares and listing on the London Stock Exchange.

A provider of infrastructure and services to the cruise industry, which serves 7.8 million passengers annually, GPH's business has doubled since 2014. Its current portfolio comprises 14 cruise ports, including six added in the last 18 months. With its initial public offering, thecompany plans to raise $250 million to fund its expansion plans in Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
GPH's management team is led by CEO Emre Sayin, who has an established international track record of operational excellence, and supported by Chairman and Co-founder Mehmet Kutman, who received the Seatrade Cruise Personality of the Year award in 2016.
Sayin referred to the listing on the London Stock Exchange as “an exciting milestone for the company.” He added, “We have a proven track record of transforming traditional cruise terminals and delivering an exceptional customer experience through modern infrastructure and customer-centric service offerings across all our locations.”
