The Port Authority of Ceuta announces the arrival of the cruise ship “Pacific Princess,” which, handled by the company Jose Salama y Cía., will be docked between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Muelle España (east side). The cruise ship will arrive in Ceuta from the port of Trapani (Italy) and will depart for Portimão (Portugal).
The American cruise line Princess Cruises is a regular visitor to the port of Ceuta. The "Ocean Princess" cruise ship has visited in previous years, as has the "Pacific Princess," which is making its third stop at our facilities, confirming the company's interest in including the port of Ceuta in its cruise itineraries
A luxury cruise ship with a length of 181 meters and a draft of 5.8 meters, it can accommodate 670 passengers in its 338 cabins, of which 10 are private suites, 52 mini-suites, 170 balcony cabins, 80 cabins with views and 26 interior cabins, a total of 11 decks. Among its public areas it has restaurants, bars, a nightclub, a casino, jacuzzis, swimming pools, etc.
The cruise ship “Pacific Princess” carries approximately 670 tourists, mostly British and American, and around 375 crew members of various nationalities. They will have the opportunity to enjoy the usual tourist excursions in Ceuta and do some shopping during their stay in the city. The ship is scheduled to depart at 6:00 PM for the port of Potimão in southern Portugal. To facilitate this, the Ceuta Autonomous City Tourist Services will assist in welcoming the tourists by setting up a tourist information point near the ship's dock and providing buses to transport them to the city center.
The arrival of this new cruise ship, the first of this season that is now beginning, confirms the commercial efforts that the Port Authority has been making in recent years in international contracting forums and participation in associations for the promotion of this traffic. In addition, there is the added incentive of the completion of the remodeling of the Muelle España (Spain Wharf), which will improve service to tourists and facilitate the arrival of these ships for the benefit of the city's tourism and economic sector.
