The new ship is named Spirit of Discovery, as revealed by Saga Cruises, and will be operational in the summer of 2019.
The Spirit of Discovery is currently under construction at Meyer Werft. This ship will carry fewer than 1,000 passengers and will feature 540 cabins, all with balconies. Twenty percent of these cabins will be single occupancy, with different categories within this option. Amenities included for these cabins offer the possibility of individual reservations at a selection of specialty restaurants, bars, and indoor and outdoor pools. The ship will also feature a spa, a library, a panoramic lounge, and the Britannia Lounge, a magnificent space for passenger enjoyment.
