The new convention center, Le Carré des Docks – Le Havre Normandie, has been inaugurated by Edouard Philippe, Mayor of Le Havre and President of the Community of Le Havre (CODAH), Gilbert Conan, Managing Director of SPL des Docks, Hervé Morin, President of the Normandy Region and Pascal Martin, President of the Seine-Maritime Department.
Authorities stated that, for several years, the community of Le Havre has undergone a metamorphosis that has allowed it to grow and become an area of great importance to the region.
Under the leadership of CODAH and supported by the Region and the Department, the territory has acquired new services that serve to increase the attractiveness of Le Havre and its community, such as the Stade Océane, the tram or Les Bains des Docks.
This new center will be able to host all kinds of events (conventions, shows, receptions…) and will have a capacity for 10,000 people.
