Cunard Line offers itineraries to enjoy Christmas aboard the company's ships and world cruises for 2018 with three different trips that will visit a wide variety of countries and continents.
For Christmas, Cunard is offering a cruise departing from Southampton on December 29th, visiting Amsterdam and Bruges. For six days, passengers will enjoy Christmas markets and New Year's Eve aboard the Queen Elizabeth before returning to Southampton, where the trip concludes.
The Queen Mary 2 will also sail the Caribbean in December, allowing passengers to celebrate New Year's Eve 2016 aboard the company's flagship. Some of its destinations will include the islands of Saint Martin, Dominica, Saint Thomas, and Tortola.
Around the world 2018
Among its most notable cruises is the Cunard World Cruise, a historic and revamped voyage. Since 1922, Cunard has sailed around the globe carrying more passengers than any other cruise line. Passengers will have three itineraries to choose from, aboard the three ships in its fleet:
- Queen Mary 2: For its 2018 round-the-world voyage, the Queen Mary 2 will depart on January 10th to fully explore Asia and Australia, and will also travel through South Africa and the Mediterranean. During its 121-day journey, it will visit cities such as Cape Town, Sydney, Wellington, Bali, Hong Kong, Singapore, Naples, Lisbon, and Southampton, which will be its turnaround port.
- Queen Elizabeth: The Queen Elizabeth will depart on January 7th and will spend a total of 123 days circumnavigating the globe, visiting more than 35 ports in different countries. New York, San Francisco, Honolulu, and Hiroshima are some of the cities it will visit, in addition to a scenic cruise through the Panama Canal and a transit through the Sea of Japan.
- Queen Victoria: Discover the Americas on a unique 76-day voyage, departing January 7th. For two and a half months, you'll sail the South Atlantic, rounding Cape Horn and continuing your journey across the Pacific. Skirting the South American continent, you'll witness breathtaking landscapes, encounter new cultures, and blend adventure with tranquility and relaxation. Visit modern metropolises and colonial cities, bask in the Caribbean sun, and admire majestic glaciers.
Exotic cruises
In the section on exotic cruises for 2017, Cunard offers a wide variety of itineraries:
- Dubai, Suez Canal, and Southampton: Departing from Dubai on April 18, the Queen Mary 2 will sail for 21 days through the Suez Canal, visiting several cities along the way. In Italy, it will stop in Naples. Lisbon will be the final stop before its final docking in Southampton.
- Exotic cruise from Africa to Europe: The Queen Elizabeth will depart from Cape Town on April 20, 2017, and travel along the African coast, visiting Walvis Bay, Cape Verde, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and Madeira. Nineteen days after leaving the South African capital, the cruise passengers will arrive in Southampton.
- Southeast Asia and Dubai: Cunard is offering a cruise that will depart from Hong Kong on April 1, 2017, and return to Dubai 18 days later. The Queen Mary 2 will also visit Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Colombo.
Transatlantic cruises
Cunard Line is the only company that currently offers regular transatlantic service. From May to December, you can enjoy the company's most iconic voyage. For eight days, you'll sail across the Atlantic Ocean to either New York or Southampton. The Queen Mary 2 is the company's flagship vessel responsible for this route.
