The Norwegian Dawn, one of the ships in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet, has set sail for Boston, its new homeport for this season, as a virtually brand-new ship after spending a month in dry dock. Upgrades have been made throughout the ship, as well as renovations to all the staterooms.
Following the renovations, guests on the Norwegian Dawn can enjoy new restaurants such as Los Lobos Cantina (Mexican) and The Cellars, a wine bar specializing in The Venetian family's signature wines. Aqua, the Asian restaurant Bamboo, and The Garden Café have also been renovated to offer even better service. Specialty restaurants such as Le Bistro, La Cucina, Teppanyaki, and Moderno Churrascaria have also been remodeled and feature new décor.
The Atrium boasts a clean, modern new look, while the Ports O'Call shopping area, now called Tradewinds Tides, has been renovated, as has the Bookstore. Tides, a new luxury boutique offering a wide selection of fine jewelry, is another highlight.
The pool deck, the Entourage teen space, the arcade, and the Dawn Club Casino all feature new details. The renovated Stardust Theater has new seat covers, padding, curtains, and carpeting.
The Mandara Spa now boasts a new and elegant decor, and the Pulse Fitness Center features state-of-the-art sports equipment.
The Norwegian Dawn will sail from Boston to Bermuda every week in October, with a three-night port call. It will also travel from New Orleans to the Western Caribbean, including a stop in Harvest Caye, Belize, the Caribbean's luxury resort port, during the winter season, which begins in November.
