MSC Cruises has successfully completed the rollout of the MSC Internet Satellite Service across its entire fleet. On June 4th, MSC Sinfonia, one of the four ships refurbished as part of the Renaissance Program, was the last to receive this onboard service. This means that, from now on, all MSC Cruises passengers will have access to 24-hour satellite Wi-Fi, providing fast and easy internet access.
The MSC Internet Satellite Service provides service to both crew and passengers, and bandwidth has been quadrupled. Onboard connectivity is made possible by the link between the ships and satellite communications in orbit, high above the Earth.
Services can be booked per day or per cruise. Internet access is available in all common areas of the ships and in most cabins, including all suites in the MSC Yacht Club. All users need is to have previously purchased one of the service packages and have a mobile internet device, such as a smartphone, tablet , or laptop. Those who prefer not to have a device can also connect via the internet cafés located on all ships.
