An educational and discovery project that, from March 10th to April 30th aboard the Costa Diadema, involves more than 3,000 European travel agents to fully experience 'La Felicità al Quadrato'.

Between April 4th and 7th, a large number of Spanish travel agents were on board the Costa Diadema, enjoying a four-day, three-night cruise from Barcelona to Civitavecchia and experiencing incredible adventures.
From March 10th to April 30th, more than 3,000 European travel agents will have the opportunity to fully experience Costa's 'La Felicità al Quadrato' (Happiness Squared) firsthand. This project, involving the Italian, French, and Spanish markets, offers a fun, exciting, and unconventional educational journey, designed to provide a truly immersive two-day experience aboard the Costa Diadema, allowing participants to discover firsthand the added value that only a Costa cruise can offer.
Costa has engaged all travel agency partners, including owners and agents alike. The initiative has already received a positive reception, confirming its value as a way to directly test the significant innovations that continue to improve and enrich the Costa Cruises product.
“Experience happiness squared” represents a significant investment in terms of organization and resources with our business partners, further demonstrating our commitment to travel agents. It involved our marketing and sales team for a four-day, three-night voyage from Barcelona to Civitavecchia, which we experienced between April 4th and 7th with a large number of Spanish travel agents aboard the Costa Diadema. This project proves, once again, how important the relationship with our travel agency partners and their training is to us, and it demonstrates the ability to convey the quality, magic, and style of Costa products to those who are in daily contact with the public. The initiative aligns with our obsession with continuous improvement, focusing on customers and their needs, and leveraging the experience of a Costa cruise vacation and its partners,” stated María Jesús García, General Manager of Costa Cruises in Spain and Portugal.
During their four days aboard the Costa Diadema, travel agents became key players in the cruise experience, discovering everything that happens behind the scenes. The Italian company has recently introduced many new ideas and innovative concepts to offer its guests the best of Italy, starting with its flagship, the Costa Diadema. These range from dishes created by chef Bruno Barbieri to homemade pizzas at the Pummid'oro pizzeria, prepared onboard using sourdough dough thanks to a collaboration with the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo. From 'The Voice of the Sea,' the popular talent show presented for the first time on a cruise ship, which directly invites passengers to discover hidden talents, to a meet-and-greet with Peppa Pig, a children's idol. They also discovered new Italian signature burgers, the Amarillo ice cream parlor, regional Italian menus, a special pasta buffet, and new shows where music, dance, and parties move beyond the theater to involve the entire ship.
These and many other exclusive and unique experiences are part of 'Felicità al Quadrato', as described in the communication campaign, which includes a testimonial of excellence: Shakira. And the happiness of all passengers is multiplied because they can see it reflected in the eyes of their fellow travelers.
