The first 550-ton blocks of the MSC Seaside, from MSC Cruises' new class of ships, have been assembled at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone. This marks the beginning of the assembly of the blocks that will form the hull, in different sections.
The MSC Seaside will debut in November 2017, being christened the following month in the Port of Miami.
MSC Cruises has ordered the construction of two Seaside-class ships, with options to build a third.
The next construction milestone is planned for April 21st, coinciding with the coin ceremony presented by MSC Cruises.
