Coinciding with the February coin ceremony, the Seabourn Encore was launched at the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard.
Marnie Tihany, director of business development for Tihany Design and wife of the ships' interior designer, Adam D. Tihany, was the godmother of ceremonies, cutting the cord that begins the entry of water into the dock.
The Seabourn Encore is scheduled to join the Seabourn fleet later this year. It measures 210 meters in length and 28 meters in beam, and can reach a cruising speed of 18.6 knots.
