CroisiEurope commissioned the Neopolia shipyards to build the MS Elbe Princesse in April 2015. It will depart Saint-Nazaire on February 10, 2016, bound for Berlin. Its inauguration will take place in the German capital on Thursday, April 14, 2016.
The riverboat will be transported from Montoir to Hamburg by a semi-submersible vessel, a journey that will take approximately five days. It will then reach Berlin via the Elbe River and the Havel Canal.
This riverboat completes CroisiEurope's fleet of 42 ships and offers its first cruise between Berlin and Prague starting on February 19 and lasting 9 days.
The MS Elbe Princesse will offer the opportunity to visit must-see sites in Berlin, such as Potsdam and Sanssouci Park, Wittenberg, the city of Luther, and Meissen and its porcelain. It will also include Dresden, known as the Florence of the Elbe, the Elbsansteingebirge mountain range with its architectural and natural wonders, Litomerce, a charming town steeped in history, and finally Prague, the Golden City.
This vessel measures 95 meters in length and 10.5 meters in beam, and features 40 comfortable cabins of 15 square meters each, all with exterior views, a 110 square meter restaurant, and a 145 square meter panoramic lounge located at the rear of the ship, which also includes a large terrace.
Due to the excellent coordination between the teams that built the MS Loire Princesse and MS Elbe Princesse, CroisiEurope has commissioned Neopolia shipyards to build a third ship. This vessel will be 110 meters long and will feature 58 cabins, a 200-square-meter restaurant, and a 215-square-meter panoramic lounge.
