Once again, MSC Cruises has been awarded two prizes at the Excellence Cruise Awards held in Cartagena. Specifically, MSC Cruises was chosen as the cruise line with the 'Best Brand Image Among Consumers' and also as 'Best Cruise Line for First-Time Cruisers,' thanks to travelers' preference for choosing one of its 12 ships for their first cruise.
The event, which took place in the El Batel auditorium in Cartagena, was attended by around 250 professionals from the cruise industry, as well as important personalities from the political and business world related to the tourism sector.
MSC Cruises was represented by its Managing Director in Spain, Emiliano González, and the Head of Sales for the Levante region, Luis Blanes, who accepted the two awards. The Managing Director, who received the award for his company, “Best Cruise Line for First Cruises,” stated: “It is a great pleasure for us to receive these awards, which recognize our efforts to convey our values and corporate image. Furthermore, it is a source of pride for the company to be present at that first moment, when Spanish travelers experience firsthand what a cruise vacation can offer them aboard the most modern fleet in the world.”
The Cruise Excellence Awards are the first and only awards specializing in the cruise industry in Spain, recognizing the work of its key players annually, with input from their customers. Organized by Cruises News Media Group, the awards aim to highlight the leading figures in the sector across thirteen different categories. Winners are selected through a large-scale survey of cruise passengers, which began last November.
