Costa's most loyal passengers club is celebrating its 15th anniversary with several new features: two new categories, new benefits, and an extraordinary and exclusive competition to win 15 years of cruises. Since its inception, CostaClub members have taken more than three million cruises.
Costa Cruises celebrates the 15th anniversary of CostaClub, the passenger loyalty program that focuses on innovation and change, values that have always been cornerstones of the Italian company's business strategy.
Since February 1st, CostaClub has been introducing new ways to make its members happier: two new clubs, new limits and rules for accumulating points, and more benefits to reward its most loyal travelers with exclusive and personalized privileges. This program not only includes discounts and gifts, but above all, offers exclusive services and experiences both on board and at home.
“The new CostaClub represents a significant investment by Costa in terms of ideas, energy, and resources, always based on our passion for innovation and for people, who inspire and guide our work every day, putting our passengers and their wishes at the heart of everything we do,” says Neil Palomba, CEO of Costa Cruises. “Since CostaClub began 15 years ago, our most loyal passengers have taken more than three million cruises with us. We have listened to, gathered, and analyzed their opinions and needs, and worked tirelessly alongside our onboard staff and travel agents to create the best benefits system in the world of cruising.”.
The 15th anniversary of CostaClub was celebrated aboard the Costa fleet with special events dedicated to the club, whose members range from those who have just turned 18 to our most loyal passenger, who is over 102 years old and recently completed a Mediterranean cruise. In addition to a large number of Italians, French, Germans, and Spaniards, CostaClub members come from 203 different countries: 19 of our most loyal members have completed four circumnavigations of the globe, one passenger has taken 100 cruises in the last five years, totaling 871 days on board, and another has chosen the same ship 40 times consecutively for their dream vacation.
In addition, the Ambra Club is dedicated to those who have never taken a Costa cruise, to give them their first opportunity to savor the experiences that can make their cruise so special.
With the introduction of these two new categories, the new number of membership clubs rises to six: Ambra, Acquamarina, Corallo, Perla, Perla Oro and Perla Diamante, each with its own exclusive and personalized benefits and privileges.
In the new CostaClub, points will be calculated based on cruises taken in the last three years. The base points awarded for each cruise day will increase depending on the cabin type selected, allowing passengers to move up a level more quickly. Costa-related airfares and onboard expenses will also contribute to earning points.
Finally, to celebrate CostaClub's 15th anniversary, Costa Cruises has launched a fantastic competition with a super prize: 15 years of Costa cruises for two people in a balcony cabin. Members who register by April 30, 2016, are eligible to participate.
