In honor of International Cancer Day, Holland America Line is proud to announce that the company's guests and employees, through the "On Deck for a Cause" program, have raised a million dollars to support the fight against cancer.
The “On Deck for a Cause” program benefits six international cancer organizations in the United States, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
This program invites guests on the company's 13 ships to make a donation.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to the guests and employees of Holland America Line who have made donations through the On Deck for a Cause campaign, which has helped in the fight against cancer,” announced Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line.
“Cancer is a disease that affects many lives around the world; thanks to this campaign, we will try to help find a cure.”
