Costa Cruises, the only Italian-flagged cruise line, is preparing for the winter months with a unique and different itinerary through the marine paradise of the Indian Ocean. Aboard the Costa neoRomantica, passengers will experience two unforgettable weeks enjoying the magnificent sea and unspoiled nature.
The Costa neoRomantica, one of the three ships in the Costa neoCollection range, is characterized by its refined elegance, welcoming passengers into a luxurious hotel atmosphere decorated with the finest materials and most innovative designs. Starting with the Central Atrium, which impresses with its designer chandelier capable of illuminating in different colors, creating ever-changing ambiances. The ship's dimensions, allowing it to enter even the smallest ports, make the Costa neoRomantica synonymous with embarking on a journey to a new horizon of luxury. Every detail has been meticulously considered to deliver an extraordinary and innovative cruise experience.
During the winter season, between December 2015 and February 2016, the Costa neoRomantica will offer 15-day, 14-night cruises to explore the most beautiful beaches in the Indian Ocean, such as those in the Seychelles: Praslin, La Digue, or La Curieuse.
Departing from Mauritius, Costa passengers can visit Mahé (Seychelles) for two nights, Nosy Be, Diego Suarez, and Tamatave (Madagascar), and Réunion before returning to Mauritius for another night before the end of their cruise. Thanks to its relaxed pace, longer port calls, superior dining options, and shallower draft, Costa neoRomantica passengers will enjoy an exclusive and unique experience, characterized by tranquility in a more intimate and personalized setting. Furthermore, the extended port calls of up to three days in Mahé or Mauritius are ideal for exploring these incredible, idyllic beaches with their crystal-clear waters.
To further enhance the experience of one of the cruise line's most enticing itineraries, Costa Cruises has reached an agreement with local authorities and will be the only company offering 15-day cruises with extended stops at the most beautiful islands in the Indian Ocean. This has allowed Costa to double the number of cruises for the 2016-17 winter season visiting the Indian Ocean, an exclusive destination for the Italian company since the end of 2006.
