Carnival UK has launched a commercial restructuring project for P&O Cruises and Cunard Line, and for this reason has appointed Paul Ludlow as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, a position previously held by Chris Truscott, David Noyes stated.
“We have two leading brands and we need to differentiate between them. By bringing sales and marketing together, we will bring greater attention to each of our major brands,” Noyes stated
“Chris Truscott is leaving this business in a much better position than when he joined. He should be proud of what he has accomplished and the relationships he has built. I wish him every success in the future,” Noyes added
Paul Ludlow, who has experience in the role as Managing Director for the UK and Europe at Princess Cruises, will be the new head of sales and marketing for P&O Cruises, as well as sales support, guest insights, and digital teams for both brands. The restructuring will also include a Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cunard, who will work alongside Rick Meadows, President of Cunard North America. The search for this position is currently underway.
She also oversaw the growth of the UK Princess's clients, including the successful introduction of Asia as a key destination for the UK market, and launched new travel agency tools.
