Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that Christian Böll has been appointed Managing Director Europe and will lead the teams at the newly opened Southampton office, as well as its existing European offices in Germany and Malta, effective today, July 1, 2015. Christian Böll will be based in Germany and will report directly to Francis Riley, Senior Vice President of International Sales & Operations.

We welcome him to Norwegian Cruise Line, where his broad industry knowledge will play a vital role in further positioning the Norwegian Cruise Line brand and our innovative Freestyle Cruising concept in our key European markets,” commented Francis Riley.
Over the past few years, Christian Böll has successfully managed several tourism brands and initiated innovative brand concepts to better meet the demands and needs of diverse target audiences. Before joining the international hotel group Steigenberger & Schörghuber (Arabella Sheraton), he played a key role in the launch and expansion of the German cruise lines AIDA and Arosa. In his most recent position, he oversaw marketing and sales as director of the German river cruise brand NickoCruises.
