More than 40 countries will be visited around the world, exploring the most spectacular and historic places.
Princess Cruises Carnival Corporation & plc launches its 2016-2017 Exotic Program, which will take guests to fascinating cruise destinations around the world. With 58 sailings ranging from three to 111 days, these exotic cruise itineraries will go on sale starting May 28.
The voyage will take place on four cruise ships sailing 38 unique itineraries across six continents, visiting 70 destinations in 40 countries. Guests can book cruises to South America, Southeast Asia, Japan, and China. Additionally, cruisers can visit less-traveled ports aboard the cruise line's smallest ship, which will sail around the world for 111 days round trip from either Los Angeles or Fort Lauderdale.

The Princess Exotic Cruise Program 2016-2017 includes:
South America
The Crown Princess will be the largest Princess ship ever available for a full South American cruise season. The ship will sail between Santiago (Valparaíso), Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires on itineraries that explore the southern tip of South America and the Chilean fjords. With nine sailings scheduled for the season, Princess will offer Cape Horn cruises with itineraries ranging from 14 to 33 days, including overnight stops in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and Lima (Callao).
The Crown Princess will sail between two continents and cross the Equator on the Andes and South America cruise, including destinations such as Peru and Costa Rica, with an optional land tour to the historic Machu Picchu.
Asia – Singapore, Southeast Asia and China.
Diamond Princess will be based in Singapore for the first time during the 2016-2017 winter season, offering the cruise line's popular "Grand Asia" sailings.
A well-known favorite, the 17-day “Grand Asia” cruise from Singapore to Beijing (Tianjin) will visit many sought-after Asian destinations, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore. A special feature of the itinerary will be an overnight stay and two full days in Hong Kong. Each ship offers an optional shore excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat, Cambodia. In the fall of 2016, the Diamond Princess will offer the “Grand Asia” cruise from Tokyo (Yokohama) for 17 days, visiting many popular Asian ports, such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, and Osaka. In the spring of 2017, the Diamond Princess will sail from Singapore to Yokohama for a 14-day voyage visiting Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan.
For its first full cruise season in Singapore, the Diamond Princess will sail a variety of round-trip voyages ranging from 3 to 11 days, beginning in November 2016. Destinations include Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Borneo. The Diamond Princess will also offer 14 combo voyages ranging from 9 to 21 days for a greater opportunity to explore the Asian continent.
The Golden Princess will also be available in Asia, on two special voyages originating from or destined for Australia. These cruises range from 21 to 25 days sailing between Sydney or Melbourne and Hong Kong or Beijing. These departures include stops in Darwin, Bali, Singapore, and Nha Trang (Vietnam).
For Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year, Princess has a variety of cruises in Asia ranging from 10 to 21 days visiting ports in Southeast Asia.
Around the World
The Pacific Princess will make its third round-trip voyage of the year, departing from either Los Angeles or Fort Lauderdale. The 111-day journey will visit 38 destinations in 30 countries, including overnight stays in Hong Kong, Dubai, and Venice, and inaugural ports of call such as Acajutla (El Salvador), Bodrum (Turkey), Yap (Micronesia), Hvar, and Sibenik (Croatia).
Guests also have the opportunity to join the World Cruise for part of the trip, including a 22-day cruise through Hawaii and the South Pacific, an 18-day cruise through Australia and New Zealand, an 18-day cruise through Southeast Asia and India, an 18-day cruise from Dubai to Europe, an 18-day Mediterranean Passage, and finally a 17-day Panama Canal cruise from Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale.
Land and Sea Holidays
To further enhance the cruise vacation experience, Princess offers sea and land vacations in South America for guests aboard the Crown Princess and also in Asia for trips originating from or destined for Beijing.
The new "Wine Experience" program takes guests through the Andes Mountains, offering them the opportunity to cross the South American Andes from Santiago, Chile, to Argentina, visiting three wineries in the acclaimed Mendoza wine region. The experience culminates in an exciting evening in Buenos Aires with an authentic tango show and dinner. The program also includes a visit to Iguazu Falls, followed by a full-day trip to Rio de Janeiro with visits to Sugarloaf Mountain and the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. The journey continues through the jungle on the border between Brazil and Argentina to the breathtaking Iguazu Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the Machu Picchu exploration tour, guests will ascend the Andes and discover the region's immense historical legacy, another UNESCO treasure. Following this, guests will visit the historic city of Cusco and the Sacred Valley, with sightseeing tours of Sacsayhuaman, Ollantaytambo, and Pisac, an authentic market.
In Asia, guests can visit the Great Wall, Beijing's Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, Xi'an, and the Terracotta Warriors with the ultimate land and sea vacation package. The Yangtze Experience includes a three-night Yangtze River cruise and visits to Beijing and Xi'an.
