The first edition of the TENERIFE CRUISE FORUM will be held on June 18th.
Tenerife will become the center of attention for the cruise industry on June 18th, with the celebration of the TENERIFE CRUISE FORUM 2015, an event that will bring together in Tenerife the cream of the crop of the local, national and international cruise industry and is organized by Cruises News MediaGroup, an international consultancy specializing in the cruise sector.
The TENERIFE CRUISE FORUM 2015 is an event aimed at professionals in the port sector, auxiliary industry, travel agencies, institutions related to tourism promotion, as well as managers of hotel services, restaurants, museums, shops and in general services that benefit or can benefit from the arrival of cruise passengers to Tenerife.
The event is the result of an initiative by the Port Authority of Tenerife and Turismo de Tenerife, and has the collaboration of several public bodies and private companies.
The event, which will be inaugurated by the President of the Port Authority of Tenerife and the President of the Island Council, will include the participation of shipping company executives, the director of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), the President of Medcruise, consultants, airlines and professionals from some of the main shipping agents and tour operators in Spain.
Organized into short introductory presentations that will discuss the state of the industry, port-destination promotion, excursions, and cruise agency services, the TENERIFE CRUISE FORUM 2015 will conclude with two round tables made up mainly of shipping company executives and with the active participation of both speakers and attendees.
The organizers have planned various activities to familiarize the speakers with the island.
