Le Lyrial, the latest addition to the PONANT fleet, will begin its inaugural season on May 9, 2015, in Venice. With its light gray hull and elegant lines, this 122-suite ship was designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel.

AN EVOCATIVE SYMBOL
The name Le Lyrial comes from the Lyra constellation in the northern hemisphere. Its main star is Blue Vega, one of the brightest stars on its way to becoming the next pole star, a crucial reference point for a company like PONANT, which specializes in cruises to the polar regions.
LUXURY AND INTIMACY WITH FIVE-STAR SERVICE
The renowned interior designer Jean-Philippe Nuel has designed the new yacht exactly as PONANT envisioned it, with a subtle combination of intimacy, authenticity and elegance, with an inimitable French touch.
Working closely with Veronique Saadé, CEO of PONANT, Nuel has created a yacht-like atmosphere, inspired by the dream destinations the company travels to. The result is an interior design centered around a palette of blues, with delicate polar grays, punctuated by turquoise hues reminiscent of the Mediterranean waters.
A DECK DEDICATED TO THE FINEST SUITES
To meet the expectations of its most discerning passengers, PONANT has redesigned Deck 6 to accommodate the largest suites, ranging from 54m2 to the Owner's Suite. As a result, Le Lyrial will have 122 cabins and suites compared to the 132 on Le Soleal, L'Austral, and Le Boreal.
A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE TO TRAVEL AND ESCAPE
This exceptional yacht will undertake its first cruise in May 2015, sailing along the coasts of Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Turkey, until October, before departing for Antarctica.
