The new Viking Star is the first ocean-going cruise ship from Viking, a company that has previously focused on the river cruise market. The ship, with a capacity for 930 passengers, is scheduled to be launched next May in Bergen, Norway. Meanwhile, it has already begun its maiden voyage, and we now have the first images.
The new Viking Star, an all-balcony ship, has been designed in the elegant lines of Scandinavian design, with a size that allows it to reach small ports inaccessible to larger vessels. This ship will offer excursions included in the total cruise price, as well as wine and beer with meals and free Wi-Fi.
