Princess Cruises will offer four new musicals on board overseen by the renowned American composer.
Princess Cruises has announced the involvement of American composer Stephen Schwartz in the production of four new musicals that will be performed on board the entire cruise fleet for the entertainment of its passengers.
The Crown Princess will host the opening of the first musical called "Magic to Make" where magic will be brought to life visually in an exceptional way and combined with the composer's most recognized songs, but adding a special song written exclusively for the cruise line.
During his career, Schwartz has won three Academy Awards for "Best Song," "Best Original Score" for Pocahontas, and "Best Song" for The Prince of Egypt. He has also won four Grammy Awards.
“Stephen is undoubtedly one of the most talented and accomplished Broadway composers of all time, and we couldn’t be more honored to have his collaboration in creating memorable entertainment experiences for our guests,” said Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises.

The new musicals can be enjoyed during voyages on all ships in the fleet for the next few years, adding an unprecedented experience to the industry on par with Hollywood.
