Trasmediterranea participated in the Miami cruise fair that began on Monday, March 16
Trasmediterranea, along with Puertos del Estado (Spanish State Ports Authority), participated in the most important cruise industry trade fair, held until March 19 in Miami (USA). Trasmediterranea's Cruise Unit is beginning the new season, which starts in April, with 25 cruise ships that it will service throughout the month in the port of Valencia. Before that, it will welcome the Aida Aura and Costa Pacifica cruise ships to the port on March 27 and 28, respectively.
In 2014, Trasmediterranea operated 195 cruise ships and handled 42 of them, in addition to providing handling services to approximately 370,000 cruise passengers at the Port of Valencia. In its cruise industry activities, Trasmediterranea has served around 3 million cruise passengers over the last decade at the Port of Valencia, where the company has its own terminal and maritime station to serve its customers on the Balearic Islands routes and cruise passengers.
Furthermore, since July of last year, Trasmediterranea has provided services to 16 cruise ships in the port of Mahón after being awarded the contract for cruise passenger services by the Balearic Islands Port Authority. The first two cruise ships of the new season will call at this port on April 24th and 27th, and the company will offer them this port service.
On the other hand, Trasmediterranea has just joined CLIA as a partner, the international association that represents the most important cruise companies in the sector.
