Today, the Costa Fascinosa is making a port call in Tunis, as part of its 7-day Western Mediterranean cruise. During the port call, several passengers were on a city excursion. All excursions organized by Costa for today have been canceled to allow passengers to return to the ship. The company is in close contact with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, local authorities, the captain of the Costa Fascinosa, and the local port agent to closely monitor the situation and its developments.
