Knowing the wide variety of passions of adventure travelers, Silversea Expeditions has launched a new catalogue of specialist expeditions, each with a focus on activities: bird watching, photography, diving, wellness and gastronomy.

The new expedition programs are available on selected trips in the following specialties
Birdwatching and ornithology: From spotting bald eagles in Alaska to observing blue-footed boobies in the Galapagos, these fascinating trips available on the Silver Explorer, Silver Galapagos and Silver Discoverer offer exceptional birdwatching opportunities that can be enjoyed by both beginners and experienced observers, as well as anyone who loves interacting with nature.
Wellness: Passengers can enhance their well-being while traveling aboard the Silver Discoverer to remote destinations in Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. A team of wellness specialists will lead a fitness program, including stretching, yoga, and Pilates. Other highlights of the voyage include daily lectures and cooking demonstrations focused on balanced nutrition, as well as a complimentary spa massage treatment.
Photography: Inspiring photo walks, lectures and workshops on board with a professional photographer: Silver Explorer and Silver Discoverer passengers will be able to get the most out of their photography equipment and capture some of nature's most unexpected moments in some of the world's most exotic destinations.
Diving: The natural treasures of remote atolls and the fascinating underwater worlds of Indonesia, Micronesia, Melanesia and Polynesia are revealed in a diving program on Silver Discoverer voyages with expert divers on board and in the expedition team.
Gastronomy: Designed for the adventurous traveler with a gourmet heart, these Silver Explorer themed expedition cruises offer a variety of culinary events on board and ashore, in addition to enriching explorations of the culture, history, and most iconic monuments of the destinations visited throughout the journey.
Silversea offers two culinary expedition options: an exploration of Europe's most authentic cuisine, sailing from Portugal along the coast of France, and a second one that discovers the culinary delights of the Atlantic islands and the coast of West Africa.
