Princess Cruises awarded “Best Premium Cruise Line”.
Princess Cruises , a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK), was awarded the Excellence Award for “Best Premium Cruise Line” on February 19th. The award is presented annually by Cruises News Media Group at a gala held this year at the ES BALUARD museum in Palma de Mallorca, attended by representatives from all sectors of the industry.
The Excellence Awards are the result of a survey of cruise travelers that was carried out last October, where the protagonists of the industry are recognized in 12 different categories, which gives them a special value as they are the decision of the cruise passengers.
Agustin Quesada, Managing Director of Mundomar Cruceros, the exclusive representative of Cunard and Princess Cruisesin both the Spanish and Portuguese markets, accepted the award. After expressing his gratitude, he reviewed the company's history on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, highlighting its track record and commitment to its customers.
