According to travelers consulted by Cruises News, MSC Preziosa is the best ship currently sailing the Mediterranean.
Once again, MSC Cruises has won some of the most prestigious awards at the 2014 Excellence Cruise Awards, recently held in Palma de Mallorca. Specifically, MSC Preziosa was chosen as the 'Best Ship in the Mediterranean,' and the company also received special recognition for its commitment to the Spanish market and its extensive offering of cruises departing from Spanish ports.
The event, held at the Es Baluard Museum in Palma de Mallorca, was attended by approximately 200 cruise industry professionals, as well as prominent figures from the political and business spheres connected to the tourism sector. MSC Cruises was represented by its Managing Director in Spain, Emiliano González, who accepted the two awards presented to the company.
“It is a great pleasure for us to receive these awards, which recognize our firm commitment to the Spanish market and to the Mediterranean, our birthplace and source of inspiration,” declared Emiliano González. “Spanish travelers who wish to experience firsthand what MSC Preziosa has to offer now have it even easier, since, starting in April, the ship will depart weekly from Valencia to explore France, Italy, and Tunisia,” he added. “Furthermore, in 2015 MSC Cruises has scheduled numerous departures from other Spanish ports, with two ships departing from Barcelona (MSC Divina and MSC Fantasia) and another from Palma de Mallorca (MSC Armonia), all from April to November.”
The Excellence Awards are organized by Cruises News Media Group and, year after year, aim to recognize the leading figures in the industry across a dozen different categories. Winners are selected through a large-scale survey of cruise passengers that began last October.
