The Port Authority of the Bay of Cadiz is taking advantage of its participation today and tomorrow in the International Cruise Summit 2014 to promote its infrastructure and services to the main world leaders of the cruise tourism sector, who are meeting in Madrid for this event.
The International Cruise Summit, now in its fourth edition, brings together all the knowledge of the sector and the main protagonists of an industry that continues to show strength and growth.
In this regard, the organizers state that “despite the challenges presented by the current economic environment, the cruise industry worldwide remains the tourism sector with the greatest growth potential. Europe continues to be a growing market, both as a source of tourists and as a global destination. Cruise lines will continue to invest in Europe in general and in Spain in particular, but it is necessary to deepen our understanding of the sector, its strategy, trends, development, and logistics. The International Cruise Summit 2013 will discuss the present and future of an industry that welcomed more than 20 million passengers worldwide last year.”
