The Port Authority of A Coruña renews its website with an emphasis on the commercial approach

The portal aims to maximize the effectiveness of the port's communication channel with its stakeholders and the community, and its potential for attracting new clients.

This technological upgrade is accompanied by an updated Port Authority logo with a more modern and appealing design, and the creation of a professional profile on LinkedIn.

The Port Authority of A Coruña has launched its new website, now accessible to users at the same address (www.puertocoruna.com). The site features a radical overhaul in terms of design, structure, content organization, and overall focus. Recognizing that its website has become a valuable communication tool for the general public and an indispensable resource for engaging with businesses and clients, the Port Authority has taken a further step to enhance the port's visibility and maximize the effectiveness of this communication channel, introducing an added value: a commercial focus.

Thus, the new portal, designed and implemented in recent months by the A Coruña-based company Altia, places great emphasis on the port's international presence, aiming to attract international clients. It provides detailed descriptions of all business sectors and highlights Punta Langosteira's potential as a logistics hub for industrial development and new investment. To this end, the "Business Opportunities" directory has been created, accessible directly from the homepage. This directory offers all the essential information potential clients need, while also conveying a promotional message not only for the Outer Port but also for all the sectors that will remain within the inner port.

Regarding the structure and organization of the content, it has been designed according to the criteria of clarity, direct access to information, dynamic content, and an intuitive presentation that allows for easier navigation and greater interactivity through more dynamic media such as audio, images, links, and video. To achieve this, the latest multimedia design elements have been incorporated, facilitating a better information architecture and more visually appealing materials.

Presented in three languages (Spanish, Galician, and English), the portal gives prominence to current port news, which can be shared directly on major social media platforms. Its homepage also features the Environmental Dashboard, providing real-time information on weather and environmental conditions in the port and its surroundings. Various icons offer direct access to key information related to the ship's log, cruise traffic, and different customer services. While updated, all relevant statistical data, traffic trends, financial information, available infrastructure and services, tenders, recruitment processes, and other information of interest are maintained, with continuous content updates to ensure accurate and useful information for users.

This new step in the technological modernization of the Port Authority is accompanied by a renewal of the official logo of the public body and its corporate manual, which has been updated offering a more modern and attractive image, and the creation of a professional profile of the Port Authority on the linkedin network, with the aim of establishing a direct communication channel with the port community, potential new clients and with citizens who are interested in learning firsthand about port activity.
