The Port Authority continues its commercial activity in the main international forums of the cruise business, working to promote the region and the port as a tourist destination for this sector.
The Port of Cartagena belongs to the CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), an organization whose objective is to integrate and facilitate commercial exchanges between all agents in the cruise sector: shipping companies, destination ports, travel agents, tour operators, industry suppliers, etc.
Next Monday, September 15, CLIA will hold the CLIA PORT & DESTINATION SUMMIT forum in Barcelona, an essential event in the sector, which will be attended by representatives of the Port of Cartagena, and whose main topics of the conferences and round tables will be port infrastructure, destination development, itinerary planning and updates to the legislation that affects the sector.
At the same time, SEATRADE and the port continue working on the organization of the SEATRADE WINTER CRUISING FORUM, which will be held in Cartagena on January 21 and 22, 2015.
