Royal Caribbean has celebrated the steel cutting of the fifth ship in the Oasis Class, which will be delivered in 2021. The steel cutting ceremony marks the official start of construction of the vessel and took place at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.
The Oasis Class revolutionized the cruise industry with the introduction of Oasis of the Seas a decade ago and did so again in 2018 with Symphony of the Seas. The fifth ship in the Oasis Class will combine the iconic seven-neighborhood concept of its sister ships with a host of exciting and unexpected experiences, creative cuisine, unparalleled entertainment, and cutting-edge technology.
