Pullmantur Cruises – the only cruise line on the market that brings the Spanish lifestyle to the way of traveling on a cruise – will bring together more than 700 travel agents at Espacio Inspira, a new training project with which the company wants to provide agents with new tools for motivation and self-improvement that will be useful in their working life.

Within this framework, and throughout 2019, seven training sessions will be held with 100 participants each in five Spanish cities : two in Madrid, two in Barcelona, one in Málaga, one in Valencia, and one in Bilbao. The first meeting took place on April 25th in Málaga.
According to Richard J. Vogel, President & CEO of Pullmantur Cruises, with all these meetings “we want to offer travel agents, our main business partners and prescribers of our product, tools that can help them bring out the best version of themselves, both professionally and personally.”
In this regard, Vogel adds, “For us it is very important that travel agents promote our destinations and value proposition; but the most important thing is that they enjoy doing it just as we do, offering our passengers the best vacation of their lives.”.
Furthermore, these training sessions will also be held internationally in various Latin American countries. Specifically, sessions will be offered in Colombia, Argentina, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and Panama.
Víctor Küppers and Pirri, coaches at Espacio Inspira
To achieve this, Pullmantur Cruises will collaborate with renowned coaches such as Víctor Küppers, a trainer and change management expert, and José Luis Abajo Gómez – better known as Pirri– a fencer and Spain's only Olympic medalist in this discipline. Both will help travel agents identify opportunities for improvement in their daily work and, consequently, achieve better sales results.
Specifically, Víctor Küppers will be present at the meetings in Madrid and Barcelona, and will highlight attitude as the key tool for achieving good results, the importance of learning to enjoy work, and the need for self-esteem as a driver of personal performance.
Pirri, for his part, will attend the sessions in Malaga, Valencia and Bilbao, where he will explain what tools helped him achieve his sporting goals and how agents can apply them to their personal and professional lives.
Continuing education program
This project is part of the ongoing training program, one of the company's top priorities this past year, through which Pullmantur Cruises aims to ensure that travel agents are fully informed about its latest developments and become familiar with the product.
Within the program, other projects stand out such as Atrivity, the gaming application through which the shipping company keeps the sales channel trained and informed; the Fam Trips, trips in which different agents embark to get to know the destinations firsthand and experience them on board; and the working breakfasts, meetings where agents can learn about the new programs developed by the company.
