Norwegian Cruise Line, considered one of the world's most innovative cruise companies, has announced a selection of 2020 and 2021 itineraries for 12 of its 17 ships. The itineraries also include the debut of the Norwegian Encore in Seattle, where it will sail seven-day Alaskan cruises alongside its sister ship, the Norwegian Bliss, as well as the Norwegian Joy's first-ever call at New York. Additionally, the Norwegian Spirit, which will undergo a multi-million dollar refurbishment in early 2020, will sail a variety of itineraries with a wide range of ports of call from Tokyo, Japan, and Hong Kong, China. The Norwegian Jewel will sail cruises to French Polynesia, Hawaii, and the South Pacific in spring 2020 and spring 2021.

Europe
On April 25, 2021, the Norwegian Epic will return to Europe for its popular seven-day itineraries from Barcelona, Spain, and Rome (Civitavecchia), with stops in Naples and Florence/Pisa (Livorno) in Italy, Cannes in France, and Palma de Mallorca in Spain. Beginning May 2, 2021, the Norwegian Dawn will offer Greek island cruises from Venice, Italy, with seven-day voyages that include stops in Kotor, Montenegro; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Corfu, Santorini, Mykonos, and Argostoli in Greece. And on April 29, 2021, the Norwegian Getaway will offer 10- and 11-day cruises to the Greek islands and Italy from Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy, with stops in Kotor (Montenegro), Dubrovnik (Croatia), and Corfu, Santorini, Mykonos, and Athens (Piraeus) in Greece, and Naples and Florence/Pisa (Livorno) in Italy. Meanwhile, the Norwegian Escape, returning to Europe on May 28, 2021, will offer nine-day Baltic itineraries from Copenhagen (Denmark), with stops in Warnemünde (Germany), Tallinn (Estonia), Helsinki (Finland), Stockholm (Nynashamn) in Sweden, and an overnight stay in St. Petersburg (Russia).
Alaska
The Norwegian Bliss, launched last year, will be joined this year and next by the Norwegian Joy in Seattle, and in 2021 by the Norwegian Encore, which will be unveiled shortly. Both the Norwegian Bliss and the Norwegian Encore will offer a selection of seven-day cruises. The Norwegian Bliss will call at Juneau, Ketchikan, and Icy Strait Point (Alaska), as well as Victoria (British Columbia), beginning April 24, 2021. Its first visit to Icy Strait Point will be on May 12, 2021. The Norwegian Encore will begin its Alaska season on May 2, 2021, and will sail to Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan (Alaska) and Victoria (British Columbia). All Norwegian Encore Alaska itineraries will include Glacier Bay. The Norwegian Joy will sail to Alaska, calling at Juneau, Ketchikan, and Icy Strait Point, as well as Victoria, British Columbia, from April 2020 to October 2020. Beginning May 10, 2021, the Norwegian Joy will return to Vancouver, British Columbia, and Seward, Alaska, for its incredibly popular seven-day northbound Glacier Bay and Icy Strait itineraries
The Caribbean
Beginning April 13, 2021, the Norwegian Breakaway will sail five-, seven-, and nine-day cruises to the Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean from Miami. Eastern Caribbean itineraries will include stops in Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), Tortola (British Virgin Islands), and the company's private island, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas. Western Caribbean itineraries will include visits to Roatán (Honduras), Costa Maya and Cozumel (Mexico), and Harvest Caye, the exclusive resort-style destination in Belize. Southern Caribbean itineraries will visit Oranjestad (Aruba), Willemstad (Curaçao), Kralendijk (Bonaire), and Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic).
Bermuda, Canada, and New England
Beginning April 14, 2021, the Norwegian Joy will be homeported in New York for the first time, combining several Bermuda cruises with Canada and New England itineraries. Its seven-day Bermuda cruises will offer passengers three full days to explore the island, while the five-day Canada and New England itineraries will include visits to Portland, Maine, and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Starting April 18, 2021, the Norwegian Gem will sail seven-day Bermuda cruises from Boston, combined with seven-day Canada and New England cruises from Boston and Quebec City, Canada. Ports of call include Bar Harbor and Portland, Maine; Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia; Saguenay, Quebec; and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. After completing its Caribbean voyages from Miami, on August 24, 2021, the Norwegian Breakaway will sail for seven days to Canada and New England from New York, including stops in Bar Harbor and Portland (Maine), Halifax (Nova Scotia) and Saint John (New Brunswick).
Asia and the South Pacific
Beginning May 9, 2020, the Norwegian Spirit will sail a variety of itineraries with extensive port calls from Tokyo, Japan, and Hong Kong, China. These voyages will go on sale May 1, 2019. These 11- to 15-day itineraries will feature must-see destinations, including stops in Shanghai and Beijing, China; Osaka, Okinawa, Mount Fuji (Shimizu), and Sapporo, Japan; and Taipei (Keelung), Taiwan. In early 2020, as part of the company’s The Norwegian Edge® program, the Norwegian Spirit will undergo a multi-million dollar renovation to include new venues, updated staterooms, and public spaces. The Norwegian Jewel will sail a selection of cruises to French Polynesia, Hawaii, and the South Pacific in spring 2020 and spring 2021. These 11- to 21-day voyages, which go on sale April 17, 2019, will include cruises from Sydney (Australia), Papeete (Tahiti), Honolulu (Hawaii), and Vancouver (British Columbia) with visits to incredible destinations such as Bora Bora, Moorea, Raiatea, and Nuku Hiva (French Polynesia), Lautoka, Suva, and Dravuni (Fiji), Noumea, Lifou, and Ille des Pins (New Caledonia), Mystery Island, Espiritu Santo, and Port Vila (Vanuatu), and the Big Island (Hilo and Kailua-Kona), Maui (Kahului), Kauai (Nawiliwili), and Oahu (Honolulu) in Hawaii.
