Climate change and its impact on rivers already represent a structural challenge for the river cruise industry. With nearly 50 years of experience, CroisiEurope has developed in-depth knowledge of European rivers, nautical charts, and different river basins, as well as the specific characteristics of its fleet. This knowledge allows the company to continuously adapt its operations to the conditions on the ground.
Looking ahead to summer 2027, CroisiEurope is incorporating this experience from the earliest stages of planning its itineraries. Some routes have been redesigned and part of the fleet has been repositioned to meet the specific characteristics of each river basin, particularly through the use of shallow-draft vessels.
DISCOVER THE DANUBE IN A DIFFERENT WAY: THROUGH THE HEART OF THE IRON GATES AND THE BALKANS
In the summer of 2027, CroisiEurope is proposing a new approach to its Danube program, with itineraries focused on Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade and the Iron Gates.
Among the new features is a new itinerary through the Balkans that will take passengers from Novi Sad and Belgrade to the Golubac fortress and the spectacular Iron Gates, one of the most emblematic sections of the Danube.
The program between Vienna and Passau, as well as between Vienna and Budapest, has also been revised, offering new ways to discover the Danube and the major capitals of Central Europe.
Meanwhile, CroisiEurope is expanding its program to the Main River with a new itinerary between Mainz and Nuremberg. Following the Emperors' Route, the cruise will allow passengers to discover the castles and historical heritage of Bavaria.
FROM THE RHINE TO THE IJSSELMEER: NEW HORIZONS
CroisiEurope is also expanding its summer program on the Rhine, opening up new travel possibilities.
In the Netherlands, a new cruise around Amsterdam and the IJsselmeer, the country's largest inland lake, will allow you to discover a lesser-known Holland, with historic port towns, landscapes of lakes and canals, and charming villages.
Another of the new itineraries will take passengers from Amsterdam to the Moselle Valley and Luxembourg, combining Dutch landscapes with vineyards and picturesque villages on the banks of the Moselle.
In the Upper Rhine, CroisiEurope will expand its program around Strasbourg and Basel, offering new ways to discover Alsace, Switzerland and the Black Forest.
