Royal Caribbean is expanding opportunities to explore the Asia-Pacific region in 2028 with the Voyager of the Seas. From October 2027 through April 2028, the ship will embark on a new season of 2- to 15-night cruises departing from Brisbane and Sydney (Australia), Singapore, and Hong Kong, visiting destinations in Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, and South Korea. This seasonal itinerary, featuring different ports of departure, combines short getaways with longer, destination-packed voyages throughout the Asia-Pacific region, coinciding with the Christmas holidays and Chinese New Year celebrations.
These new offerings are part of Royal Caribbean's largest season in Asia-Pacific to date, with the Voyager of the Seas It will begin its schedule in Brisbane and Sydney before heading north to Singapore and then establishing Hong Kong as its home port. In this way, the ship becomes a key component of a connected network of itineraries throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
The season will also feature the Navigator of the Seas, which will operate year-round out of Singapore starting in October 2026; the recently renovated Ovation of the Seas, which will sail from Brisbane; and the Anthem of the Seas, with departures from Sydney. In addition, the Spectrum of the Seas will sail from Shanghai and Hong Kong to destinations in Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, offering travelers more options than ever to explore Asia.

More Options for Exploring Asia Aboard the Voyager
Travelers will be able to choose between short getaways and longer adventures throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including:
- From October through December 2027, the Voyager of the Seas will offer two- to seven-night vacations from Brisbane, including itineraries through the South Pacific with stops at Mystery Island, Port Vila, and Luganville in Vanuatu, and Nouméa in New Caledonia, before embarking on a two-night repositioning cruise along the coast to Sydney.
- Voyager of the Seas' voyages from Sydney include a new 10-night Christmas itinerary through New Zealand's majestic fjords and iconic landscapes, with stops in Picton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, as well as the breathtaking Milford Sound.
- A five-night getaway will depart from Singapore and visit Ho Chi Minh City (Phuoc An), Vietnam, before arriving in Hong Kong, combining two of Asia’s most dynamic cities with time to discover Vietnam’s vibrant culinary culture.
- For Chinese New Year getaways from Hong Kong, the four- and five-night itineraries will visit Ishigaki and Okinawa, Japan. Some trips will include an overnight stay in Okinawa, giving travelers more time to enjoy its turquoise waters, local cuisine, and the unique culture of the Ryukyu Islands.
- To discover China and Southeast Asia, these getaways from Hong Kong will make a stop in Taipei (Keelung), Taiwan, where travelers can explore this lively city, famous for its night markets and culinary offerings. Passengers will also be able to visit Hue/Da Nang (Chan May), Vietnam, a gateway to the country’s ancient imperial heritage, coastal landscapes, and cuisine of central Vietnam.
Between destinations, the Voyager of the Seas offers experiences designed for travelers of all ages. Adrenaline junkies can take on the FlowRider surf simulator, whiz down The Perfect Storm water slides, test their skills on the climbing wall, or go ice skating at Studio B, the ship’s ice rink.
Families and friends can test their accuracy on the nine-hole Voyager Dunes mini-golf course or face off in a battle in the dark with Laser Tag: Battle for Planet Z. Younger children will have spaces and activities designed especially for them at Adventure Ocean, while teens can create their own memories at Living Room, a space designed specifically for them.
When it comes to dining, passengers can gather to enjoy home-style Italian dishes at Giovanni’s Table, savor freshly prepared cuts of meat at Chops Grille, discover sushi and Japanese-inspired specialties at Izumi, or choose more casual dining options at Windjammer and Café Promenade.
