Aman at Sea has reached a major milestone in the development of its first ocean-going yacht, Amangati, following the successful completion of its “float-out” at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy. This ceremony, one of the most significant in shipbuilding, marks the completion of the yacht’s exterior structure and its transition from the dry dock to the water.
In keeping with a century-old shipbuilding tradition, this milestone confirms that the ship’s hull is fully completed, sealed, painted, and ready to sail. From now on, the Amangati will remain docked at the shipyard’s fitting-out pier, where all of its interior spaces will be completed over the coming months prior to sea trials, the official delivery, and the start of its commercial operations.
Among the facilities currently being completed are its 47 spacious suites, the Aman Spa—which will be the largest spa in the luxury yachting industry—four signature restaurants, the exclusive Selora lounge, and the private marina located at sea level.

Amangati's maiden voyage will depart on May 7, 2027, from Palma de Mallorca bound for Nice, kicking off its first season in the Mediterranean with itineraries ranging from five to eight nights through the western Mediterranean, the Adriatic, the Ionian Sea, and the Aegean Sea.
In addition, the company has announced that reservations are now open for both this inaugural season and the new Caribbean cruises scheduled for fall 2027.
Measuring 180 meters in length, with nine decks and a gross tonnage of 23,000 metric tons, the Amangati was designed by SINOT Yacht Architecture & Design and built by T. Mariotti S.p.A. in Genoa. She will sail under the Maltese flag and will accommodate only 94 guests, served by a crew of 207, resulting in an exceptional ratio of 2.2 crew members per passenger.
The 47 suites, all of which face the ocean, will feature private terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as a Suite Host—a personal assistant dedicated exclusively to each suite.
The dining options will consist of four signature restaurants: Alira, specializing in Mediterranean cuisine; Akari, Japanese-inspired; Hiori, dedicated to teppanyaki; and Aman Grill. The yacht will also feature numerous social spaces, including The Jazz Club, a Cigar Lounge, the Alira Pool Bar, the Aman Grill bar, the Selora lounge, and a movie theater.
One of the main highlights will be the Aman Spa, which covers 740 square meters and is considered the largest spa in the luxury yachting industry. Its facilities will include eight treatment rooms with ocean views, each with a private terrace and jacuzzi, as well as a hammam, banya, gym, yoga studio, meditation deck, beauty salon, and a full-service Medi Spa.
To enjoy the ocean, Amangati will feature The Marina, located on Deck 3, with two floating platforms and a carefully curated selection of water sports equipment, as well as the Selora beach lounge.
The yacht will also feature four limousine-style tenders, two speedboats, and two helipads located on decks 6 and 9.
With this significant milestone in its construction, Aman at Sea continues to prepare for the launch of a concept that aims to redefine ultra-luxury cruising by combining Aman’s renowned hospitality with an exclusive at-sea experience.
