Norwegian Cruise Line today released images of the redesigned spaces and new features added to the NorwegianJade® and the NorwegianGem®, including the new Vibe Beach Club, exclusively for adults, and an enhanced Thermal Suite at the award-winning Mandara Spa and Salon.

NEW THERMAL SUITE EXPERIENCES AT MANDARA SPA & SALON
Redesigned based on guest feedback, the renovated Thermal Suite aboard the Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Gem now features three times as many of the popular heated loungers, a more centralized layout with an improved reception area, renovated saunas and steam rooms, and new relaxing and revitalizing experiences, including:
- Charcoal sauna, which uses a radiant heating system with an outer layer of charcoal, offering potential benefits for stimulating circulation and helping to eliminate toxins from the body. Its thermal properties help reduce muscle stiffness and tension.
- Ice room, where the cold air helps stimulate the respiratory tract.
- Salt room, which promotes healthy skin and induces deep relaxation.
- IV Lounge, an increasingly popular treatment that quickly delivers essential nutrients to the body.
- Four-Senses Loungers, which offer the ultimate sensory experience for deep relaxation.
In addition, the Norwegian Jade features new experiential showers with multiple water jets and lighting effects to revitalize the body, as well as a plunge pool for brief cold-water soaks that accelerate muscle recovery, stimulate circulation, and leave guests feeling refreshed and revitalized. For its part, the Norwegian Gem offers a renovated hot tub and a thalassotherapy pool, which uses massage jets, bubble loungers, and currents to help detoxify the body and relieve joint discomfort.
DEBUT OF THE POPULAR VIBE BEACH CLUB, AN ADULTS-ONLY VENUE, AND STARBUCKS
Both the Norwegian Jade and the Norwegian Gem now offer an exclusive adults-only retreat with the Vibe Beach Club, a guest favorite that repurposes the existing sun deck on Deck 14. This exclusive outdoor oasis offers sweeping ocean views, a full-service private bar, an additional hot tub, more than 50 premium lounge chairs, and seven new private cabanas where guests can enjoy the perfect spot to relax.
As the first cruise line to offer the world’s most recognized coffee brand, Starbucks®, across its entire fleet and at its private destinations, NCL is now adding a new licensed store aboard the Norwegian Jade, so guests can enjoy the same handcrafted hot and cold beverages, seasonal blends, and sweet and savory treats.
SUMMER GETAWAYS TO EUROPE AND ALASKA
From now through the end of summer 2026, the Norwegian Jade offers a series of seven-day cruises from Vancouver (British Columbia) and Whittier (Anchorage), Alaska, featuring scenic cruises through the Inside Passage and glacier regions, as well as stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and Icy Strait Point, Alaska. Meanwhile, aboard the Norwegian Gem, guests can immerse themselves in the rich history and vibrant culture of the Mediterranean and the Greek islands on various cruises departing from Rome (Civitavecchia) or Venice (Ravenna), Italy, visiting ports such as Cannes (France); Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy; Split and Dubrovnik, Croatia; and some of Greece’s most sought-after islands. As the year progresses, toward the end of 2026, the Norwegian Gem will offer sun-and-fun cruises through the Caribbean and the Bahamas departing from Tampa, Florida, while the Norwegian Jade returns to Asia for immersive, bucket-list-worthy itineraries.
