Cunard will undertake a major transformation of the Queen Victoria. Following its dry docking this autumn, the elegant ship will return to service with a refurbishment of some of its most iconic spaces, upgrades to the exclusive Cunard Grills suites, and the addition of the new Pavilion Wellness Café.
The ship, with a capacity for 2,000 passengers, will remain in dry dock at Damen Shiprepair's facilities in Rotterdam between October 17 and November 5, 2026. Once the work is completed, it will sail again to complete the rest of the 2026 season and begin its 2027 schedule.
The main spaces of the Queen Victoria will be carefully revitalized. The Grand Lobby will debut a new look to reinforce the feeling of welcome and enhance the timeless elegance that characterizes the ship.
Likewise, the iconic Queens Room will be completely redesigned to continue being the perfect setting for some of Cunard's most iconic experiences, such as the traditional Afternoon Tea, live music and elegant Gala Nights.
The exclusive Grills experience, a hallmark of Cunard's luxury product, will also be enhanced. The Queens Grill Suites and Princess Grill Suites will feature new, high-end furnishings, more sophisticated decorative details, and a carefully updated design to offer the ultimate in comfort and style at sea.
In addition, the ship will debut eight new Britannia cabins, including three belonging to a new premium category, Britannia Deluxe Oceanview, which will feature floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy spectacular panoramic ocean views.
The new cabins will be available for booking from July 20th, for cruises departing from November 11th, 2026.
In response to the growing interest of luxury travelers in wellness, Queen Victoria will become the third ship in the Cunard fleet to incorporate The Pavilion Wellness Café, following its successful debut on Queen Anne in 2024 and its addition to Queen Elizabeth in 2025.
This specialized gastronomic space will offer breakfasts, lunches and all-day service with a culinary proposal based on plant-based cuisine, complemented with meats, fish and dairy products from sustainable sources.

The Queen Victoria will return to service on November 7, 2026, completely renovated and ready to welcome its guests in a 2027 season that will include itineraries around the Mediterranean, the Norwegian fjords, the Canary Islands and other international destinations.
